What we do

Engineering services, end to end

One team from discovery through to long-term support. Engage us for a whole product or a single capability your roadmap is missing.

SaaS Product Development

End-to-end delivery of multi-tenant SaaS platforms — from the first architecture decision through to a billed, production product your customers can sign up for.

  • Multi-tenant architecture and tenant isolation
  • Subscription billing and metered usage
  • Role-based access control and admin tooling
  • Analytics, audit trails and usage reporting

Enterprise Web Applications

Business-critical web systems — ERP, CRM, operations dashboards and internal tooling — built to hold up under real workloads and real audit requirements.

  • Domain modelling and workflow design
  • Complex reporting and data grids
  • Third-party and legacy system integration
  • Single sign-on and permissions

Mobile App Development

Native and cross-platform apps that extend your product to the phone without splitting your roadmap in two.

  • iOS and Android from one codebase
  • Offline-first data synchronisation
  • Push notifications and deep linking
  • App Store and Play Store release management

UI/UX & Product Design

Interface design grounded in how your users actually work — validated with prototypes before a line of production code is written.

  • Discovery workshops and user journey mapping
  • Interactive prototypes for stakeholder sign-off
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Accessibility review to WCAG 2.2 AA

Cloud Architecture

Infrastructure sized to what you run today and ready for what you run next quarter — without a surprise bill at the end of the month.

  • AWS landing zone and network design
  • Containerised workloads and autoscaling
  • Cost modelling and rightsizing
  • Backup, failover and disaster recovery

AI Integration

Practical AI inside your existing product — retrieval over your own data, document processing, assistive workflows — scoped to a measurable outcome, not a demo.

  • Retrieval-augmented search over private data
  • Document extraction and classification pipelines
  • LLM-assisted workflows with human review
  • Evaluation harnesses and guardrails

DevOps & Deployment

The delivery pipeline that lets your team ship on a Friday afternoon: automated, observable and reversible.

  • CI/CD pipelines with automated gates
  • Infrastructure as code
  • Monitoring, logging and alerting
  • Zero-downtime and blue-green releases

Maintenance & Support

Long-term ownership under a clear SLA — dependency upgrades, security patching and a roadmap that keeps moving after launch.

  • Defined response and resolution targets
  • Security patching and dependency upgrades
  • Performance monitoring and tuning
  • Quarterly roadmap and health reviews
Why Softaura

Built to be a long-term engineering partner

Most vendor relationships fail on the things nobody put in the proposal. These are the commitments we make explicit up front.

Senior engineers, no hand-offs

The people who scope your project are the people who build it. No junior bait-and-switch after the contract is signed, and no context lost between a sales team and a delivery team.

A stack chosen for your problem

We work in TypeScript, React, Node and Java day to day — but we pick per project, and we tell you why. No resume-driven architecture, no framework you will struggle to hire for later.

Architecture that survives growth

Multi-tenancy, caching strategy and data partitioning get decided up front, not retrofitted at ten thousand users. The cost of getting this wrong is a rewrite; we would rather spend the time in week one.

Two-week cycles, working software

You see a deployed, usable increment every sprint — not a status deck. Scope stays negotiable, direction stays yours, and there are no six-month gaps between contract and first demo.

Security handled as we build

Threat modelling, least-privilege access, encrypted data at rest and in transit, and dependency scanning in CI. Security review is part of the definition of done, not a pre-launch scramble.

We stay after launch

Every engagement can move onto a support retainer with defined response targets. Documentation and handover are written for whoever maintains the system next — including your own team.

Our stack

Proven technology, chosen per problem

We are opinionated about engineering quality and flexible about tools. Here is what we reach for most, and what each layer is responsible for.

Interfaces that stay fast as the product grows.

  • ReactComponent architecture and state
  • Next.jsServer rendering, routing and caching
  • TypeScriptType safety across the whole codebase
  • Tailwind CSSDesign-system-driven styling
  • React Three FiberWebGL and 3D interfaces

Backend

APIs and services that hold up under load.

  • Node.jsHigh-throughput APIs and real-time services
  • JavaLong-lived enterprise systems
  • Spring BootTransactional business services
  • REST & GraphQLTyped, versioned API contracts
  • PythonData pipelines and AI workloads

How we work

Seven steps from idea to running software

No black box. You know what happens next, what it costs and what you get at the end of every stage.

  1. Discovery

    1–2 weeks

We map the business problem, the people who touch it and the systems already in play. This is where we find the constraints that would otherwise surface in month three.

You receive: Requirements brief and risk register

  2. Architecture & planning

    1 week

Technical approach, data model, integration points and a release plan broken into sprints. You approve the architecture before any code is written.

You receive: Architecture decision record and sprint plan

  3. UI/UX design

    2–3 weeks

Wireframes to high-fidelity, interactive prototypes. Stakeholders click through the real flows and sign off on them while changes are still cheap.

You receive: Interactive prototype and design system

  4. Development

    Ongoing sprints

Two-week sprints, each ending in a deployed increment on a staging environment. You review working software continuously instead of waiting for a reveal.

You receive: Working increment every two weeks

  5. Testing & QA

    Continuous

Automated test suites in CI, plus manual exploratory passes, load testing and a security review. Bugs are fixed inside the sprint that produced them.

You receive: Test coverage report and security review

  6. Deployment

    1 week

Production infrastructure as code, a zero-downtime release, monitoring wired up and a rollback path proven before go-live.

You receive: Live production environment and runbook

  7. Support & evolution

    Retainer

Defined response targets, security patching and a quarterly roadmap review. The product keeps improving instead of slowly decaying.

You receive: SLA, monitoring dashboards and roadmap

What partners say about working with us

Sample content. These quotes are illustrative placeholders, not real client endorsements. Replace them with approved testimonials and set TESTIMONIALS_ARE_PLACEHOLDER to false in src/data/testimonials.ts before launch.

They pushed back on our original spec in the first week and were right to. We shipped a smaller first release than we planned and had paying users two months earlier than the original timeline.
Sample ClientHead of Product, B2B SaaS company
Three school offices were running on spreadsheets that never agreed with each other. Six months on, the administrators trust the numbers and reconciliation is not a weekly meeting any more.
Sample ClientOperations Director, Education group
What stood out was the handover. Our own two engineers picked the codebase up without a single escalation, which is not how any previous vendor engagement ended for us.
